The fifth the bishop and Merry Christmas

We are almost in Christmas and I am going to miss you till the next 2024

Leap year, Olympic year and I hope a great year 💪💪💪💪💪

The bishop

Each player has 2 bishops, one that travels on white squares and the other on black

Each bishop can only land on half of the board.

They are very useful to control the board, especially on the central squares, bring out early your bishops to control as many squares as possible.

Their specialty is long-distance attacks, they are very sneaky.

El alfil

Cada jugador tiene 2 alfiles, uno que viaja sobre casillas blancas y el otro sobre casillas negras.

Cada alfil sólo puede aterrizar en la mitad del tablero.

Son muy útiles para controlar el tablero, especialmente en las casillas centrales, saca temprano a tus alfiles para controlar la mayor cantidad de casillas posibles.

Su especialidad son los ataques a larga distancia, son muy astutos.

Play chess with your bishops

and answer these questions:

How many positions can a bishop control from h1 (on an empty board)

In which positions are the bishops more powerful?

What animal is related to bishops?

Piece collecting: draw the black bishop's route so it can capture all the white pieces, in as few moves as possible. (The other pieces don't move.)

Juega al ajedrez con tus alfiles y responde estas preguntas:

¿Cuántas posiciones puede controlar un alfil desde h1 (en un tablero vacío)?

¿En qué posiciones son más poderosos los alfiles?

¿Qué animal está relacionado con los alfiles?

Recogida de piezas: traza la ruta del alfil negro para que pueda capturar todas las piezas blancas, en el menor número de movimientos posible. (Las otras piezas no se mueven).
