The pieces

2.- Pieces

There are 6 different pieces per team (Pawn, Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen and King).

Pawn (1 point)

Rook (r) (5 points)

Knight (n) (3 points)

Bishop (b) (3 points Some authors 3.5)

Queen (q) (9 points, sometimes 10)

King (k) (No points because it's the goal of the GAME)

General rules:

1^st There can only be a piece per square.

2^nd They have to be moved one by one (except castling).

3^rd You have your turn and then your opponent has its turn.

4^th You cannot move a piece on a square occupied by another place except when you capture an opponent’s piece. In this case your piece replaces the captured one.
