These three last activities we are going to talk about three super chess players under 13 years old, just like you.

Number one:

Meet Faustino Oro, the chess superhero!

Hello, friends! Faustino Oro, whom everyone calls Fausti or the Messi of chess, is a 12-year-old Argentinian boy who plays chess like no one else in the world. He was born on October 14th, 2013, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.So he's 12 years old.

When he was 6 years old, during the pandemic, he discovered chess online and fell in love with it instantly! He learned so quickly that by age 9 he was already one of the best players his age. At 10 years and 8 months, he became the youngest International Master in chess history. No one had ever achieved this at such a young age!

Faustino trains many hours a day, now he lives in Spain with his parents, and continues to break records. He has already earned his first norm to become a Grandmaster (the most important title) and is known as "the Golden Boy." He loves Vélez Sarsfield football and is a normal kid like you: he plays, laughs, and dreams of being the best.

Fausti teaches us that with passion and practice you can achieve incredible things, even if you're young! Are you ready to try chess?

¡Conoce a Faustino Oro, el superhéroe del ajedrez!

¡Hola, amigos! Faustino Oro, al que todos llaman Fausti o el Messi del ajedrez, es un niño argentino de solo 12 años que juega al ajedrez como nadie en el mundo. Nació el 14 de octubre de 2013 en Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Cuando tenía 6 añitos, durante la pandemia, descubrió el ajedrez en internet y ¡se enamoró al instante! Aprendió tan rápido que a los 9 años ya era uno de los mejores jugadores de su edad. A los 10 años y 8 meses se convirtió en el Maestro Internacional más joven de toda la historia del ajedrez. ¡Nadie lo había logrado tan joven!

Fausti entrena muchas horas al día, vive ahora en España con sus papás y sigue rompiendo récords. Ya ganó su primera norma para ser Gran Maestro (el título más importante) y le dicen “el Pibe de Oro”. Le encanta el fútbol de Vélez y es un niño normal como tú: juega, ríe y sueña con ser el mejor.

¡Fausti nos enseña que con pasión y práctica puedes lograr cosas increíbles, aunque seas un niño! ¿Te animas a probar el ajedrez?
