This week's solutions are right now

Challenge #1:

The only escape for the white King is... F-2 as you can see in the diagram below

 So we need to threaten that square

Challenge #2:

This Challenge has a little trick. Actually none of the black pieces is threatening the white King.

So we have to avoid the Stalemate (it is a draw) and win the game.

watch out the Knight can capture

                                              the pawn or its promotion

C-2 is the solution

Challenge #3:

This exercise has two solutions.
The White King has one escape on G-1

 

So a Pawn on H-2 or on F-2 avoid that escape.

Challenge #4:

 Be cautious before promoting your Pawn
It can be captured by the enemy.

But we can support it with our King.

 

next challenge is to Checkmate the Black King with the Queen and the support of her King (always as a team).
