Explorajake: Solution Activity 8th Season 2

Here you are the solutions for the activity.

Unfortunately it has been a little difficult so I will take note of this. It was very exciting for me to be at the Marshall Chess Club, it is a magic place and it was one of the million places to visit in such a wonderful city.

Anyway those who have participated did it really well so CONGRATULATIONS

He told us: "... I started to play chess when I was 7 years old, my grandpa taught me..."

He uses the past form for start=started and for teach=taught (that is an irregular verb).

At the very beginning he told us: "... I started to play chess when I was 7 years old..."

So that was his age.

This was the most difficult although I did the question as clearer as I could.

"...I play... I'd like every day... the best I can... here at the club I play two, three times a week..."

He kindly showed us a historic chessboard telling us its history.

"...during the embargo there was a tournament in Cuba and he (Bobby Fisher) was not allowed to get in Cuba so they had to play via temematic..."

He proudly showed us the list of the current members of the Club, and they can play a pretigious tournament among them, although everybody is welcome to the Club.

"...so you can see Caruana... Nakamura..."

And after he showed us the anual winners of the Club tournament.

NOW I have a novelty. My good friend Profesora Chispa made an activity making masks and many of the members of our great community made one with "Profesor Jake"
