On this very first activity we are going
to face up pure chess and English
We are starting with the most numerous
pieces:
The pawns
Let's watch a video with the basic theory
then we will suggest some simple exercises
for beginners
We play a “Pawn
war”
how to play thev pawn war:
As we saw on the video above the pawns start
from the 2nd line (white ones) and the 7th line (black
ones). They have to fight on the chessboard only with their pawns
the winner is the player who gets more pawns
on the promotion line (1st line for the black pawns and 8th line for the white
ones)
Simple and easy.. but funny and sometimes
very tricky.

Jugamos una “guerra de peones”
Cómo jugar a la guerra de peones:
Como vimos en el video de arriba, los peones comienzan en la
segunda línea (los blancos) y la séptima línea (los negros). Tienen que luchar en
el tablero de ajedrez solo con sus peones.
el ganador es el jugador que consigue más peones en la línea de
promoción (1ª línea para los peones negros y 8ª línea para los blancos)
Simple y fácil... pero divertido y, a veces, muy complicado.
